Scientific review of a proposal during its development can be helpful to making sure that the significance/intellectual merit and innovation/transformative aspects of the proposal really stand out and that the methods proposed are appropriate. OCRD can provide the following scientific review services:
1. For an early draft of the proposal: Pink team review.
2. For an almost-final draft of the proposal: Red team review
For any of the above scientific review services, OCRD will need the main sections of a proposal, which will depend on the funding agency and/or type of program within the agency. Examples are:
For NSF:
- 1-Page Project Summary
- Project Description
- List of team members and their roles
- Possibly other key documents based on solicitation
For NIH:
- 1-Page Specific Aims
- Research Strategy
- List of team members and their roles
- Possibly other key documents based on FOA
Other Federal
- To-be-determined based on FOA
